I have a mountney - alloy spokes with leather rim. They're cheapish but not bad. I think the poorer quality steel / vinyl wheel were astrali? Happy to be corrected though.

If it is, it's amusing that no reference has been made to the car's TV erm, provenance...

As it's now for sale does this mean that somebody did "win" it?

I don't remember there ever being any mention of the lucky winners of the cars featured; then again I had given up the will to live before the end of the series so may have missed that part.

Given the tie-in with RM and their valuer Dylan Miles, why are these cars ending up on ebay, and not being put through an RM auction? Yes the programme was naff and regardless of whether they should have been given away as 'prizes', the quality would be in line with lots of glossy painted stuff that seams to float through the auctions?

Probably both "won" but returned unwanted...!! smile
It also shows how accurate the valuations on the show were, double or there abouts, if these prices are actually achieved !

350 miles since renovation.

TV valuation £22,000
eBay price £11,950

That's approximately £26.70 per mile depreciation. scratchchin

About the same as a new Porsche then. hehe

Just seen this is being repeated. Rubbish program & intrigued to know how one vendor ends up with all the cars that were supposedly won by viewers?

Surely more to the point it is a definite case for Trading Standards or Office of Fair Trading? I believe this might be called criminal deception or fraud at least.
