One of my guilty pleasures would be the Mini Marcos. It's ill proportioned, dumpy, has an odd pointy snout that is too high...but somehow it just looks an awful lot of fun. It just seems so typical of the 1950/60 specialist sports car scene where cars were designed by engineers.
Love the Alfa SZ too.

CV8; Dart; 2CV; Bristol 404; 308GT4 and Alfa Giulia Super all have that 'jolie laide' look. Mind you I didn't think the Alfa or 308 ever were remotely ugly but as all the Classic mags say they are I must be wrong...But what do I know- I'm the one who thinks the Elan is prettier by far than the sainted E Type.(E Hype more like)

Doesn't stop the chavs from driving them. I can never fathom out how they get the insurance, or indeed whether the car is actually insured.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
