60's sports car and a modern...

The Alpine is just too small for a comfy seat. Also the 60s Elan and Europe are so small.

That's the place, thanks. I couldn't remember the name.
It was originally owned by the late John Shute. He was an MG enthusiast and the MX5 was a concept from his offices done at his expense.
The story has it that he originally offered it to MG as the new 'Midget', but the 'wise men' at MG/Rover said that small sports cars had had their day and they weren't interested. So he took it to Mazda and the rest, as they say, is pure history.
Then, ;later, along came the MGF - 'nuff said!

Posted this a few weeks ago in the supercars spotted thread, but thought it also deserved a place here, and the lady in heels is an added bonus
Hardly dwarfed though is it? It's substantially wider than every car in the street laugh
Its parked a foot or so further from the pavement then all the other cars and the one in front is a 3 series BMW in comparison. Jeez some people have to post smart arse comments just for the sake of it at times it seems

Sorry to have offended you but it's not dwarfed and don't call me Jesus! hehe

Ferrari F40 width: 1980mm
BMW E46 Touring width: 1739mm

So the F40 is 241mm wider than the BMW E46 Touring ahead of it.

Based on the the white line running down the road and the width difference between the cars, I'll guarantee that the F40 is not parked a foot or so further from the pavement!

The roofline of the F40 is as low as the bottom of the windshield on the little Fiat thing behind it. If someone happens to be fatter than you, but not much more than half your height, they are still dwarfed.

I have no idea what that means, probably better in another thread! Much like the Prancing Donkey. biggrin
I sometimes wonder about the obsessions (or prejudices) of people on here. What on earth about that woman would make any normal person think it wasn't just a woman who had always been a woman?

Maybe no woman should be driving a Ferrari, eh lads? Jeez.

In a similar vein this is from inside my brother's AC 3000 ME on the Eurotunnel coming home from Le Mans Classic 2014, the Ferrari bumper is at dash height on the AC.

Rubbish photo (in my defence, it was half three in the morning and three below zero). And don't give me all that about "it's nearer the camera" either hehe Can't remember the last time I saw a Mini Marcos outside of a show, though arguably they were dwarfed by most things, even in period

Great picture, who'd have thought a Jaguar could look small.

I like them. I think the rear overhang is a bit awkward, but only from some angles. An unavoidable effect of the tiny Mini wheelbase, I guess. They're definitely "of their time"

Just to add a bit of fun. The other way round ...well, sort of.

Modern (1997 Dare G4) dwarfed by classic (1970 Mini)

Mind you it wasn't much different in 1958! Ginetta G3 and an Austin 7.

Just be aware that's got a very modified rear end. Original one is shorter and looks like a dog dragging it's bum!
