How rare is this Jaguar Coupe?

brief update,
headlining was put on hold as the exhaust system decided to let go, the noise of the over axle pipes graunching on the drive shafts was excruciating. The surviving part didnt look too bad, almost new 12 years ago, but it seems that sat in a barn for that long with water/condensation sitting in the pipes tends to rot the bottoms out. Anyway, a grands worth of stainless from Mr Manners duly fitted Buyers beware, the existing tailpipe finishers do not fit over the new exhaust........................though Manners can sell you a set that do

Is yours a V12 or a 6 ? Has the exhaust affected the performance as far as you can tell ?I had an AJ6 system on my modified V12 E Type and it strangled the performance significantly. On the advice of a well-known Jaguar engine builder I knocked the baffles out and got a massive power increase.
On the other hand I had the TT extractor system on a straight six E Type and it sounded great and went really well.

mine is a 6.0 v12. Not sure about the power as it was on when i bought it. I would like it to be louder though so i might knock the baffles out anyway now you've said thatI had an AJ6 system on my modified V12 E Type and it strangled the performance significantly. Had the same problem with mine earlier this year (XJ6), both pipes were rubbing on the drive shafts creating a slight groove, when my Jag guru had the car up on the ramps he showed me and I was horrified at first! He fitted a Falcon stainless system from Manners and it sounds just right, slightly raspy, similar to a Mk2 in some ways.headlining was put on hold as the exhaust system decided to let go, the noise of the over axle pipes graunching on the drive shafts was excruciating.
