How rare is this Jaguar Coupe?

sure have, the original works were to do the perforated floor pans however as the old ones were coming out it revealed rotten inner sills and a few other perforations in the rails.
All in with a few other mechanical issues, should be around the £1500 mark. undersealed and MoT included.

I'm going to be following this thread with interest now, as it's relevant to my update of a 5 year old tread today ...

i caught your resurrection earlier, that was some slumber!
"should" have mine on the road next week, though the garage has been saying that for a loooong time now. Soon as i have it out i will throw the Kents on and fit the carpet prior to putting some local mileage on. Ive driven it a total of about 15 miles in the year ive had it
One job i want to attempt is a flat & polish on the paint, though i am a bit nervous of taking abrasive paper to good looking paintwork
start on the boot lid i suppose, whats the worst that can happen

Finally got this home today, not completed but fed up of the garage fobbing me off with false promises. Shame really cos he has done a really good job of the bits ha has finished, driers side sill is all done leaving the passenger side to be ground down and smoothed out. Floor pans are in and really strong. Nice to drive it without the throttle pedal flapping around the footwell!!
Next thing to do is get the passenger sill done, give it a service and MoT it. Added the Kents this evening, interestingly these are shod in 205's rather than the 215's on the Pepperpots. Anyone know what section tyres the 4.2 should run on?
Looking at the headlining and panel kits available on Ebay, anyone had any experience of these?
I'll post some pics up soon, plans are to get roadworthy for the Brands Hatch 40th anniversary meet at the end of May, bit optimistic me thinks ,

One side looking good, just needs paint along here. Sat it on its Kents for the first time,
Need some centre caps for these if anyone has any or knows of any going spare? Also have a set of 4 pepperpots with old, but decent, tyres that i need to get rid of............

Nearside not looking so good!!!
i just got fed up of waiting so i took it as it is. It is now booked in on the 18th May to get finished at a local restorers. Fingers crossed all up and MoT'd by the end of the month.
I would like to have it ready for Brands Hatch on the 25th but i think that's a bit optimistic. 40th Anniversary meet of the Coupe if anyone's interested.
