Not sure about that! No MOT on mine, choke seized solid and a few fuel leaks to deal with and a bit of rust...good bits is a near perfect interior and carpets....if a pair of new old stock front wings come up for sale I might buy them...
The NOS stock seems to be with a small number of enthusiasts OR specialist suppliers like Justsuds. The Alfaowner sud/sprint/33 forum is the best reference for the time being. The better posters are off to their own forum soon. Apologies if you know all this already. Good luck with the parts!

£450 from ebay. chopped springs were replaced with proper ones, kept the loud stainless exhaust though, twin webers with k&ns sounded amazing. The service history was incredible - just about every panel on the car had been rust repaired and painted, and again, and again, the paintwork was a patchwork quilt and it needed doing again.
Eventually parted company with it after the clutch slave died and the towing eye pinged off in a cloud of rust when the recovery truck arrived. Cracking car though.

The garage where I'm based was an Alfa dealer in the 70's and 80's. We still have some of the original tools on the wall in the workshop, but I digress.... We service and MOT a Sud which was purchased new here in 1983. Can't be many one owner from new ones, with full service history from the supplying garage!

Love it.....they were cheap enough to throw away and buy another when they eventually fell to bits back then£450 from ebay. chopped springs were replaced with proper ones, kept the loud stainless exhaust though, twin webers with k&ns sounded amazing. I can just see that tow hitch pinging into the middle distance!
When I had my first Sud (1979) it had been a company car for one of my Dad's staff and was only a couple of years old. Within 12 months the leading edge of the bonnet rusted clean through and ended up flapping in the breeze! We managed to get AR UK to replace it at their expense, after much argument, by threatening to park the car at the kerb outside the main dealer in Ashford!
These days we can all thank the pro-rust program for providing us with so many cheap replacement engines and gearboxes!

Thankyou....blimey a pair of those is 50% of what I gave for the car lol....Here's an 1983 Sprint Speciale I am about to sell...apologies for the two 155 Q4s in the background
And my later sprint, I prefer them without bumpers. just got to get around to changing the wheels!
Have NOS rear quarter and doors, NOS front inner wing chassis rails, AP Racing 4 pot front caliper setup for early sprint and some secondhand front wings as well for sale soon.

Nothing wrong with the 155 Q4. I had the pleasure of driving one home from work and back again the next day almost 20 years ago, and thought it was a great car. Lots of go, lots of grip and once the seat runner was modded to get a bit of extra leg room, was comfy as well. I thought it was just a great all rounder and nice to live with. The 155 was a good car anyway even if the early ones were a bit uninspiring in the handling dept. My Mum had an early 155 2.0TS that was a press car, and we fitted a set of Tipo Konis and springs - after that it handled like a dream. Such a pity Alfa couldn't get it spot on fist time around because it was the equal of the E36 BMW in most other respects.

Update on my Sprint:
Did a few bits to it prior to MOT today
New fuel line front to back
A fuel pipe under bonnet
Un seized chokes on carbs
A couple of bulbs
Need two new exhaust sections as they are bodged up, and a windscreen washer motor as this one s broken.
Nice to take an old Alfa for MOT and not have yellow chalk marks all over the underside!!
Bloody hell I scratched my alfa itch with a 80's red ti ... all thats left is a couple of pistons used as ash trays, Belgium log book and front calipers - dont ask...
I stripped it, put it in the back of a volvo drove to my parents in suusex, unloaded it, few days latter a chap came over, loaded it into a van and drove off to the west country, he raced one .. sold and delivered to the uk for £100.....
As I said bloody hell....

Lovely I had a 1982 1.5Ti Sud in black in the mid eighties - I was young and niave and appeared to have bought a clocked car from a trader working from home(Exchange n Mart special!) It was lovely once sorted and made a fab noise. I found the bulkhead by the pedal box was rotting before my eyes so sold it a year on for £1850 - which was £100 more than I paid for it! I used to drive past the poor younger chap who bought it off me and a month later he had practically every panel off or covered in primer - I felt so guilty about it!
BGC225X, long gone, I suspect

My 2nd ever car at 18 was a rusty Alfasud, after many months of looking bought another this week and they are just as good as I remember....days of buying one for £350 are over though!!
Only 105 Bhp but twin webbers and that fantastic flat four and great grip make a really fun car to drive
