Awful ad. 5 grand. What could possibly ... etc, etc

A cheeky offer might get it for useful parts I suppose.

Rather fetching colour on this.

I like it a lot. Seems good value at 15.

I had several clients in the day with the SLC models, both 450, and 380, and I always found them, well, class. If I was buying an SL, I'd love to find a really nice 380 SLC but there seem to be few about. Maybe one day.

Yup, nice legs and looks properly run in. The car's not bad either. Don't like the American lights though.

Fair point about the lights but they can perhaps be forgiven, what with the car being (presumably, given Wibble's location) in Canada

The Federal-spec lights could be forgiven - not so for the bumpers though.

I reckon this looks pretty appealing, and seems sensibly-priced.

And another one here. Are the prices softening at all? They seem generally lower than I recall.

Is it me or has the painted-hubcap one got a pretty glaring panel-to-panel paint mismatch in the N/S front wing?

I have been looking at purchasing one of these but the car I looked at which is advertised as an 1983 seems to have two identification plates. Is it normal to have one for the VIN and a separate one for the Spec as I am struggling to see two separate ones from my research. ? Cheers

is it white?

VIN sugests it was built late 83 as LHD. 500SL in black with black leather and black soft-top. Rear seats fitted, heated fronts.

i can have a look later when I'm at home if I have 2 plates on my 84 car.

Awful photos, but this looks reasonably-priced, if you like Gold.

MOT history makes me think there are big bills on the horizon - also a bit leggy with 150k on the clock.

Wonder if it started life outside the UK?
