Serious answer: probably not.

Just bring along the thinnest pair of gloves you have, no point buying any. Frankly I'd be surprised if anyone does more than about 2hrs of actual flat out driving on the day. Especially those in the older cars.

Any update on whether there is a night on the lash beforehand?

If so I could really do with knowing asap so I can get it booked in.

Just the word 'Lincoln' makes me feel a bit sick. Never been there but just a gut feeling.

How about a swank country estate hotel we can all turn up at, get bladdered and then do skids in the grounds with an angry foreign concierge chasing us around shouting, "Alors. Zut alors. Arrete...." etc.

Lincoln city centre is where I'll be overnighting (assuming I can find a half decent hotel), if anyone else wants to join me for a few beers there somewhere they would be most welcome, I'm afraid I don't have the time or patience to arrange/book restaurants etc etc. I'm hoping to turn up, eat, drink and be merry.

Any suggestions for somewhere in Lincoln?
Splendid. We'll be overnighting beforehand.

Can someone going make a mental note to take some pics and then, equally important, remember to post them up here? Congrats for getting it together, and very curious/eager to seeing some of the action.

Umm...when I entered I said I'd bring the Keeble which still isn't finished and hasn't been driven since 1994, or I'd bring A TVR Chimaera I hadn't yet bought....There's a chance I'll already have bought and sold the TVR and bought a W124 Merc, which fits in the 18 to 30 bracket, but I still aim to bring the Keeble.

I am a car nightmare.

I'm currently window shopping for a Porsche 924 Carrera GT so I'll probably turn up in one of those little fkers.

I just looked at Blyton Park's website to find the address to look for swank country hotels and couldn't help but notice Ken Barlow in a nomex race suit. Great to see him back behind the wheel after the non-paedo-rape stuff.

I know I said we're full but I was obliged to accept a (very) late entry from a chap with a Quattro.

I will send an email round next week with a bit of a plan. Anyone who hasn't already paid needs to do so now. There are some further pics and info on that Facebook thingy: https://www.facebook.com/groups/726016300756476/

I look forward to meeting you all smile
My cheque has never been cashed. Should it have been by now??

I'm the chap presenting this video from 1 minute onwards, here's a rare shot of me without a hangover;

How will I know it's you? Maybe we all need to wear a distinctive hat or something?
Could you go back and edit please, I can't cope with a sensible answer...

Remarkably, I also look like Hagrid.

Or perhaps I should say, Hagrid looks like me.
