The PH Classics Trackday 2014
Discussion
Just supposing one of the people on this event had a problem that had got out of control and was changing cars like George Best drank beer...
A 1996 Merc W124 coupe acceptable even if its a lowly E220 four pot? Fits into the 18 to 30 bracket. Assume a E320 version of the same would be fine?
What about a Rover P6 V8S, would that qualify as a Cougar?
I'm a tt.

I'm enjoying this "what qualifies" game. Here's one for you all, totally hypothetical as I'll have sold it before August.
Would my MG ZT 260 V8 get in if the Lotus broke down? It dresses older than it really is, feels great when you poke it and is slightly embarrassing to be seen with in public. Jailbait, surely?

PS - There's already an XJS coming, a very rare XJS-C V12, a manual car with targa top, bought specifically for it's chromed cigar-holding abilities.
XJS was a nice car, however, I'm 6ft 3inches tall with mutant dumpy legs and a long body, I was looking right at the windscreen header rail....was the same in the R129 SL we had, drove me up the wall. There's been a purchase, if the Keeble is not ready, the car that arrived tonight fits the 18-30 rules.
My old man has a Spectre R42 that he hardly drives. Maybe a track day would give him an event to prepare for and the opportunity to put it through its paces.
It is a 1998 car, so 2 years too young, but it is interesting and there are only a handful in the UK. What do you say Foxy?
As he won'y be reading this, I can assure you the he won't be fast, so we don't need to worry about speed differentials.

Any love or an E24? 'Big Six' is an old girl, part of of a crack, 1979 German sleeper cell she infiltrated UK society under the guise of a daily run about for an aged German lady, let's call her 'agent x'. Since Ms. X's demise in 1995 (autopsy inconclusive, might just have been depleted uranium pellets or just old age), 'Big Six' bided her time, waiting for her moment to strike, her revenge was not just being served cold, but the can has gone rusty and if you ate it's contents you would walk with a limp. 'Sleeper' spec for the late 70's agents included a manual dogleg box and LSD. In 2013 she awoke to exact her terrible vengeance....please do not, under any circumstances refer to her as a 'Couger', she is a cold bloody murderer, the type who will calmly give you a double tap to the head and start chopping you up for the pigs even as you scrabble about for pictures of your kids and blurt out the sentence 'I have money, it's yours....'
