The PH Classics Trackday 2014
Discussion
Very exciting - last year was a great day out, and Blyton the perfect venue.
Unfortunately not only is my Alfa for sale*, but we are expecting at the end of April, so I think I'll have to miss this time, unless the baby comes early.
Hope its as much a success as last time.

- Hoping to replace with a cheap something or other

Cool. I think Mr CSL would get frustrated at all the stuff going sideways at such low speeds compared to him. The day is mainly aimed at modern classics, we don't want a big mismatch of performance. I hope you follow our logic
Of course, I like the sound of this day the more I hear about it, My brother can help pilot the E24 as he owns half of it anyway.Cheers

Depends on noise limits but i'd love to bring the Chim. I would bring the XJS but i would feel sorry for throwing it around a track
If not the Trabant might be on the road by then
We had an XJS last year, a rare manual XJS-C V12, which was surprisingly sprightly! If not the Trabant might be on the road by then
Noise limits are Blyton are 95db but they're pretty good about things. Their policy is online here.
A trabby would be crackers! It's also most welcome. I suggest you sign up pronto as these sell out fairly quickly, you can pick which car to bring nearer the time, all 3 will qualify one way or another
How do i sign up?!
The TVR may be a little loud but i could probably blag some trackday silencers. The Jag on track looks great. Mine is a 3.6 manual but it sure is a heavy old beast to throw around like that!
Hi Folks
Just letting you know that there are still a few places still up for grabs on May 1st 2015. £89 per driver. Some cars have had to pull out, and other buggers are too slow getting there wallets out, so there's a few extra spots up for grabs.
Strict CarClub 18-30 rules still apply: cars should be 'Quick, Cool or Quirky' and in production between 1997 and 1980 (not 1985 since Thomas Cook now allows 35year olds along on its STD-riddled Spanish bonkathons). There are always the 'Jailbait' and 'Cougar' exemptions of course for interesting machines that might just be a little younger or older than they really should be, but that's at the MotorPunk Committee's discretion (or the size of your bribe).
