Most Beautiful Car Ever Made?
Discussion
The AC in 289 form - and its predecessor the Ace - are gorgeous looking cars. What a shame that most replicas concentrate on the 427 which I always thought was a triumph of testosterone over taste- too many phallic bulges and bloated arches.
Re the Lamborghini 400GT(and 350 too ) what a classy car that was and of course the Miura was sublime. Pity about nearly everything after that though- OK on a 14 year old 's bedroom wall but did any grown up really like the Countach ?

Always liked it in it's original form before it sprouted wings and arches...Re the Lamborghini 400GT(and 350 too ) what a classy car that was and of course the Miura was sublime. IMHO the AC Ace 2.6 (Ruddspeed) is the prettiest of it's type.
The earlier AC and Bristol-engined variants have the bluff front, "borrowed" (along with much of the body styling) by John Tojeiro from the Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta (particularly the Carrozzeria Touring version), but the 2.6 Ford straight-six engined version has the clean lines with the sleeker nose of the early Cobra.

Hey, no worries at all. It has a grey leather interior with blue piping. Really fab car.
What an absolutely stunning looking car, the technical specification is just perfect . Any plans to replace it with something similar?Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
