Not sure if this uploads but this would be my leftfield choice. What a motor! Otherwise I would stick to E Type/C Type.

That looks like a replica of Wolf Barnato's 1930 Bentley Speed-Six Gurney Nutting Sportsman saloon AKA the "Blue Train Special"http://img.pistonheads.com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws....
(although not the earlier Bentley H.J.Mulliner saloon that he actually raced against the Blue Train).
Some excellent considerations shown in this thread but, people, watch out for "I quite like . . . " comments, this is about the most beautiful car ever not "quite like"!
Anyway, no one has mentioned it so I have to. How about the wonderful AX201 also known as The Silver Ghost? She really is a pretty machine and still regularly driven at events. Often described as the world's most valuable motorcar due to her importance in establishing motoring as a reliable mode of transport.
Here she is with our car behind her at Windsor Castle.

Another favourite of mine...
Oh, Uhlenhaut...Have you seen the video of Simon Kidston taking it (I think there were two actually, but anyway...) out on the road? Absolutely bloody magnificent. Like an Alfa P3 it just reeks of sophistication. There's something so aristocratic about a straight eight tuned for racing.

There were indeed two, both still held by Mercedes, so will never come on the market. Ten years ago D-B was offered $25 million for one. Imagine what its worth now.Have you seen the video of Simon Kidston taking it (I think there were two actually, but anyway...) out on the road? Absolutely bloody magnificent.
