1938 Lancia Aprilia Lusso
Weird world. I drove that very car at Brooklands almost a year ago when it was coming up for sale at Historics. Here's the catalogue entry: Aprilia
Originally the car would have just had that single central rear lamp.

Just wait for the BM and MG owners to pop up now!
Apologies in advance for the volume of pictures...

4. All the cars above were at one property, spread between front and back (and all visible, and photographed, from the road)
5.
6. This one I checked on DVLA, etc. It is registered as a 'Mercedes' with a date of manufacture of 1939. Date of first registration is June 2014, and it has a 3969cc petrol engine. Not really sure if it belongs here, or on some other thread to be honest...?

21. The bunch above were cheating a bit, as they were all in the 'parking lot' of the North American Motor Company in Farnborough/North Camp. (Yes, including that old Volvo!)
22. This lovely MG had just rolled out of it's garage, and was sat warming up on the driveway.
23. Rocket lolly, anyone?
24.
25. This really nice Land Rover was parked outside a parade of shops in West (or maybe East?) Horsley in Surrey. This one is the best of the lot, for me personally. I love it. So much that I fell from my bicycle as I maneuvered to take the first picture.
26. I liked this one very much, too. All the chrome and the lights, interior, etc were in tip-top shape. Just some bodywork left to sort to get it into great shape, by the looks of it. My dad's Mk1 Cortina Estate in a mid green colour was the first car I really remember clearly. Shame it didn't have the pie-chart rear lights...
...all the photos were taken on various bike rides around Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey since the start of January. Next time I'll try to post smaller, more regular submissions, rather than saving them up and spamming the thread with all of them at once.

I for one am quite happy for you to *spam the thread* going by the quality of what you've posted here.
Pic 2 looks like it's getting close to being a contender for the "Classics left to rot/die" thread, which is a shame as there can't be many Consul Capris left now.
Not sure about the wheels on the Triumph 2000 in picture 9 (Wolfrace??) but I suppose that they're period. Same owner as the Farina Oxford next to it?
I had a 144 Volvo as pictured (17) a long time ago, rear crankshaft oil seal was weeping but apart from that a good reliable motor. Never did get round to fixing it. Sold it to a traffic bobby and he never fixed it either, but the oil was always fresh due to the amount of top ups.
Finally, the Mk I Cortina wants finishing. I've always had a soft spot for them having owned several, though preferred the 2 door version. the wheels look wider than the 5 1/2" which we used to put on them, possibly 6"?
Thanks again, nice collection of pictures.

Yellowjack, was just about to say I recognised the number plate on the Stag, being sure I'd seen it locally, then I realised from the pics at North American Motors that you are local!!
I'm in Farnborough
I'm Farnborough based too. The Stag I've seen a few times, but always at what I presume is 'home'. Which is out in Great Bookham, just off the A246. Very close to where the Mk1 'tina was parked too.I'm in Farnborough

I've seen the house where the Consul Capri is.
Never been able to stop a truck anywhere to take pics.
Iva, that house was a little goldmine of classics. With the row that's bookended by the bus and the XJS out back, and the Capri, Merc' and the Ferret scout car in the front. Stopping anywhere I please, within reason, is a massive advantage for me when I'm out on my bike. Just a quick check for traffic behind, then pull up and lift the bike onto the verge/footway, snap a few exposures, then off again as though I was never there. With a car or truck there's the looking for a place to turn around, as you've whizzed past by the time you realise what you've just seen, and then finding a safe place to pull up, and then you may have a walk to get the shots from a decent angle. I hardly ever bother taking pictures when driving, as the wife just rolls her eyes, and it's a bit of a palaver all in.Never been able to stop a truck anywhere to take pics.
