COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! Vol 2
Discussion
Spotted a lovely Austin Healey 3000 in Southport in Merseyside yesterday afternoon parked up at the side of the road, not everyday you see a great classic like this parked up, first Healey I've seen up close that wasn't at a car show. Certainly stood out from the crowd - a true classic, just wish more people used them regularly rather just for show purposes.
Also, a dark green Morgan 4 seater with an assortment of badges on the side, with hood down, heading past Silcocks amusements around 2pm; can't count the number of times I've seen a Morgan in Southport; love Morgan's, but those 4 seaters just look terrible imo, they completely spoil the flowing lines of the 2 seater just so people can ride in the back - if you can fit in the back that is, and with the hood up, they look even worse, but each to their own I suppose. It's strange that, with the Austin Healey 100/3000, they made both a 2 seater and ones with small seats in the back, but the 4 seater doesn't compromise or spoil the lines of the car one bit, unlike the Morgan and E-Type.
Very briefly spotted some type of white bubble car (possibly a Messerschmitt) heading towards the Victoria park/Tesco area around 2.15.

Without doubt my best spot for a long time was seen having just crossed London Bridge, towing a Land Rover Defender...
This 1922 Burrell had been attending the 2014 cart-making ceremony.
Lives in the village next to me (Hadlow Down), I see it going past quite often along with a lot of other ones. This 1922 Burrell had been attending the 2014 cart-making ceremony.
Must have been quite a drive home from there!

I believe that's the most common colour in the UK.
That is actually rare Woodcote Green -you mistaken it for the common colour of British Racing Green.
