know, I'm annoyed that both times I've spotted it I've been too time-pressed to follow it!
William Towns claimed he originally designed the Aston V8 as a four door for just this eventuality so that rather than stretching a two door into a four door the Aston was, in some ways, a coupe of the Lagonda.

Richard Williams converted one to match the later AM V8 spec. A fine car.

I'm unable to post pics at work, but here is Richard Williams' updated V8 Lagonda.

I thought that was very well priced until I saw the date - May 2008.
I bet that has appreciated well in the last 6 years - oh for 20/20 hindsight!!!!

Today, amongst other things, I saw a '63 Ranchero. cloud9

I can post photos again now, so that's what I'm going to do. Here are a couple that my dad took in South London last week - a Triumph Spitfire and a Triumph bobber.

No, Cliftonite is right, tali. That car should have a better plate than that; its original plate for example.

If the owner's initials are FOO I may be persuaded to moderate my opinion.

Car featured before, but these are better pictures.

(Pity about the 'MAFIA' plate, though)!

Followed a Maserati Quattroporte Series 1 in to Halifax yesterday afternoon, guessing they'd been to the Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend as there were a few other classics about.

looks like a 348 convertible, think they're quite rare these days. Not the best regarded Ferrari by any manner of means but i'd definitely buy one!

Original is better - but no waay is that a crappy plate(i'm willing to have PH vote on it!) Let battle commence ! biggrin

"Frank Foo Foo Lammar (sometimes Lamarr) had a very successful drag career .He had a succession of Rolls Royces with the registration plate FOO 1."
Oh and that's not drag as in racing ....

In general, according to the ways of the "Crappy Plates " thread, any plate that is mis-spaced, mis-bolted or butchered is automatically a crappy plate, no matter how clever or amusing the result.

Some PHers disagree with this.

But they are wrong.

See?
