Called in for a greasy McDonalds breakfast this morning.
This was parked outside, 1935 and being used as a summer daily driver.
There are loads of similar era cars used regularly here in Washington in the summer.

Some of it will still be 1935, sure.

Very true.
Like most regular old-timers out here though, some mods/upgraded parts surely make it more liveable than driving it in 1935 spec?

Two Maseratis this morning within five minutes of each other near Duxford, a Ghibli and a Bora. Made a nice change from the normal hum-drum commuter cars. smile

It is, I also spotted it this year – at some festival in Hyde Park – and came away with an inexplicable need for a packet of Pacers.

Here are a few which I've taken (either on the move or walking around) in Camden over the last month or so. Varying levels of poor quality as you can see, but an interesting mix.

Spotted a Maserati Khamsin in Midhurst today, heading Goodwood direction. I borrowed one for a weekend from Len Street off Fulham Road in the seventies, took it to Bristol, white knuckle ride as the power steering was sooo sensitive, but don't remember them being as ugly as the one I saw today. I guess one's tastes change...
Here's another seriously doubting that Volvo hood. Maybe there was no other solution...

I was just about to ask 'is that an Interceptor?' and then the penny dropped.

I wonder if the passing police car is about to stop and issue a ticket to that Land Rover for the number plate?

If you look REALLY hard you can see the Dino 2nd car from the back of pic.

It's red.

That Volvo's been around in the city for a while hasn't it? Often parked in the open - Unless there was its double about in 2007..
