COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! Vol 2
Discussion
I saw a lot today, including various old Brit sports cars, a couple of Type 2s and a Citroën Traction Avant, but my highlight was this, seen being trailered on the M25:

I spotted a whole row of 300SL Gullwings and Roadsters coming down the Binfield Road towards Bracknell yesterday. Followed by a 50s MB saloon. I think they were all on German plates. I think I also spotted them going into Marlow about 6 weeks ago. Wish I'd had a camera with me.
I saw them a few weeks ago too, can't remember where.I think the plates were Belgian and Dutch.

They are fantastic! Spotted loads of cool stuff heading down the A3 as I returned from Portsmouth on Friday, but no photos as I was driving.
Among the spots was an early Porsche coupe, many Jaguar MkII saloons and more E Types than you could shake a stick at, roadsters and coupes both.
Earlier in the day, on the way down, we'd swapped places with this chap a couple of times on the A3/A3M/A27/Eastern Road. I grabbed this pic whilst stopped at a red traffic light...
Then, while I was parked up, checking the street map (uni accomodation search for my eldest) this immaculate Morris Marina turned out of a side road...
...the Doris driving it was very old, and very small (she's barely visible behind the resident's parking permit and owners club sticker in the offside of the screen). She also waited ages to move off (which helped give me time to grab the camera) and had to be invited out by semaphore, before trundling down the road at sub 20 mph. That's surely a 'one lady owner' car that's been cared for all it's life. It appeared to be perfect in every way.
Here's another shot of it, knicked from t'internet, from someone with a better camera than I... http://www.flickr.com/photos/105377853@N02/1401205...
