Why have you blacked out the rear number plate, especially when the front one is clearly visible?

Superb!
Values of these are skyrocketing, according to Classic Cars, which I bought today for the first time in years. Not again though, it's become completely obsessed with cars as investments. Looks like virtually every other article is about investment potential in one form or another. One ad in there refers to cars as 'consignments' – WTF?

These Alfas are lovely things by the way.

This was in the car park at work the other day. 1959 which I think makes it an early Series 2. It's running a 2.5l turbo-diesel and gets used properly - the owner was on the way back from an off-roading session in Wales, where he'd managed to rip off the rear section of his exhaust on a boulder, and was heading up to Scotland for some more muddy stuff!

Nice spot today....came out of the back of Clarence House. Never seen Prince Charles in one but I can't think of why else one would be there.

I recognise that car. It's a 1928 Bentley 4½ litre Vanden Plas Tourer, seen here at Brooklands:

I remember that one of my dad's business partners had one in the late 70s. Unfortunately it died in the office car park, leaving a great stain on the tarmac. It was never seen again and was replaced by a 911 SC. He was so embarrassed about it he paid someone to come in and clean away the oily patch!

You clearly know your cars! That was the registration. I've only ever seen a couple of these Bentley's before....they seemed much bigger in comparison.

Driving along the M3 yesterday I passed a lovely looking Renault Alpine, possibly the first one I have ever seen driving along.

Series II is correct. You can tell a Series I from a II by the sides. On a Series I they're flat but on a II they become wider under the windows.

Yesterday I spotted a lovely orange Spitfire 1500 in Orpington and exkay of this parish's XK in Locksbottom.

Parked opposite the Vauxhall dealers in Newbury last evening.

160,000 made. Not many left, I suspect.

I saw this Triumph Stag in Chelsea last night, and also saw a bay window VW Type 2, a Citroën Dyane, a Ferrari F40 and an Austin FX3.

A couple of probably unique recent spots from Woburn area.
Also saw a great looking dark blue Ferrari 308 GT4 this morning.

they were very common at one point, i remember. At the time they were a bit of a joke (to me anyway) but they're definitely a zeitgeist, and dare I say it they actually look quite good these days? Fiat X/19 IIRC.
