Perhaps it's still standard. They never sounded much kop on the OEM Stromberg's......one of the reasons I bought a Sunbeam-Lotus instead. There can't be many HS's that haven't been fitted with a pair of HSR style 2x48 DHLA/DCOE's though.

It was at a set of temp lights and I filtered out behind it as they changed so only got to hear it from behind, still nice to see one out and about for a change. There can't be many HS's that haven't been fitted with a pair of HSR style 2x48 DHLA/DCOE's though.
This Rolls-Royce appeared locally to me last week. It looked quite complete apart from the missing boot lid.
I spotted this Wolseley in Orpington a couple of days ago.

Shame about the unlawful number plate and the exhaust pipes (still a 1600cc on the log book).
My MkII 2 litre used to manage quite well with only one exhaust pipe!
The MK2 front grille on a MK3 is popular too.
Last Sunday I went to an M.G. show at Chiddingstone Castle and I did see a lot, so this post is going to be quite pic-heavy.
One of the occupants of the castle car park was this cool V8 sleeper Moggie. Unfortunately, the angle I chose for the shot doesn't convey its mean stance very well.
Some other car park occupants that later migrated to the show field were this Big Healey trio.
Next to the castle's entrance was a pub, which contained a "Dart", a Sting Ray and a Silver Ghost.
Outside another pub was this Austin 12/4 (photographed from a low-slung Midget).
Outside another pub was this Granada limousine, which probably won't go down well here but I thought it was ace.
Finally, I found this DS420 locally to me, opposite a house with a Dolomite in the driveway.
