I love the 993! Saw this in Hampstead this morning.

Not much out there has a better looking bum than a 993 "S". Nice colour combo too - is this Nephrite Green?

As that's in Hampstead then said bum is likely to cause the owner to get a ticket. Great car though. Don't look in the horrors thread if you like 993 as there's a butchered example in Bradford for 70k and it's not even a turbo!!

Ha ha! I posted that one too. I saw the beautiful green one above and took the pic. It was so lovely, that when I got to the office I did the usual "browse for cars you can't afford" thing and stumbled upon the wide arched horror show in Bradford and posted that as well!!

You may need to hide behind the sofa before scrolling down...

Apologies for the quality, phone photo..

its hard to get my head round the fact that the Escort is probably worth three times as much ad the Daimler now!!

Really? I would have said that was an FWD, an American truck and a real rarity.

Today I saw a 1960s BSA and was followed through Carshalton and Sutton by a Jensen-Healey.

DVLA reckons it is an AEC Matador, so it must be!!! smile

However . . .

Seems it is a much-modified 1947 FWD SU-COE, registration number HPX 139, according to :

and lots of other Google references!

Perhaps the tiny ' F W D ' on the front should have been a clue for me?

No photo as I was on the M6 at the time, but I copped an eyeful of a silver Lancia Fulvia Zagato being trailored south near J3 this afternoon, the reg' number began with 'GPK....'. Very nice.
