In your ammended post, the "DB5/6" element concerned me because the DB6 is distinguished from the DB5 by having a Kamm tail, ostensibly for stability but quite likely to draw the eye away from the four inches or so increase in the wheelbase of the 6 over the 5 to create a bit more space inside. All the DB6 range had the Kamm tail except for the convertibles and the handful of estates. DB4 and DB5 convertibles are called Convertibles but from the DB6 onwards convertibles are called Volantes. The first Volantes were built at the commencement of the DB6 on the last of DB5 chassis (37 IIRC) and are not called DB5 or DB6 Volante but Short Chassis Volante and have the DB5 tail. Highly prized they are too.
