Interesting, because it's a curious registration which I don't really identify with any country, it's a left hooker but it's very much in the colours of the Samuri Datsun 240Zs which Spike Anderson converted at the time in the UK.

Apropos very little: I once did a road test of Spike's Big Sam as it was known and a brake disc disintegrated. I tried to get it back to him but driving up the M1 with one broken front disc was a bit too much and he actually came out and changed the disc at the same of the motorway.

Wikipedia suggests that's a French registration layout - AAnnnAA - but I couldn't see why it was silver on black instead of black on white. Introduced in 2009, perhaps it was exported after that.

I absolutely love that car.
In the early 80's, when I was still a kid, I wrote to the importer for a brochure, which I still treasure today.

And if you can find one, they're not that expensive.

Just saw a bloke in a Ford Model T casually driving through Camden.
Love it!

Great spot of a great car. I ran one as my daily hack for a couple of years a few years ago and it was ace in every way.

A contemporary advert for a Granada Coupe included the phrase "...just like a DB6..."

Nice, but it wasn't a DB6, mate. And it still isn't.

A few rarities from London on Thursday.
The last one particularly surprised me in London rush hour traffic!
