Without revealing its location, it is highly unlikely it will have been left there like that as it would be removed fairly quickly.
I expect it is either entering or exiting one of the garage doors that are to the right of the chap taking the pic (maybe the owner is opening/closing the door).
Looks like the back of St Katherines Dock?I expect it is either entering or exiting one of the garage doors that are to the right of the chap taking the pic (maybe the owner is opening/closing the door).
on the plus side for the Matra Murena is, it comes with a galvanized chassis and GRP? body.
I also had a Talbot Matra Bagheera long before the Murena, I remember that car with much understeer...
you had to have the tank topped up or a bag of sand in the front, or attack the corner with oversteer.
I think the Murena was a bit better, but still not much power in such car, thats why some did a engine conversion with say a fast 4cill around 200hp or V6 from the alfa romeo.

I spotted the A.C. in Orpington and the Sunbeam in Locksbottom today. I was rather pleased with both spots, not least as the A.C. drophead is one of only 15 built. There was also a split-screen VW Type 2 in Orpington.
Some of you may not regard this as a classic, but it's definitely a rarity:

I saw an ad for it in a local shop window a few years ago, was great to finally catch up with it. In at a local garage for a bit of work on the fuel system, seems to have suffered from lack of use over recent years.
And a couple of slightly newer coupes, on different days in the same car park:

1991 Honda Prelude 4ws 2.0i SE auto by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr
I would like a Prelude of some sort one day. Any of the first three generations would do thanks.

It's definitely a classic (and far more a classic than some of the cars that get posted here that are in reality at this moment in time, just old cars [they'll be classics one day but they are not there yet!] ), and it is now far cooler than it ever was in it's heyday! It's nice to see one still in existence!

He's probably too busy taking pictures of all the classic cars that were made in 2013 to have time to post them at the moment!
