A really random selection of classics on my journey from Leeds to Kent.
A metallic green Morris Ital estate (dartford crossing)
A metallic grey Jaguar xj220 (on the m20 North)
and a black ?crayford ford Corsair convertible on a c plate

Walked the dog down a lane about 100 yards from my house earlier today, somewhere I walk several times a week, and heard an unfamiliar-sounding engine pulling out of a driveway behind me. To my surprise, a red NSX rolled past, sounding lovely.

Lived here 4 years and never seen it before, so I don't know whether:

- it's a garage queen (and why not) which I've never seen before popping out on a sunny day (and why not!),
- it was a visitor, or
- someone has just bought it. The driveway it came from serves 4 big houses, and in one, the lady resident recently went from an Up! to a new-ish 911. Perhaps that family have come into some spare cash and invested in wheels. I'll keep an eye out.

It's looking alright for a car knocking-on for nearly 60 years old.

1957, 1.6 litre, 356A.

Saw this on St George's Day while on a pub crawl in the smoke, looked great. Shame the boot didn't appear to be shut properly, but nevermind.

..Also saw another AM V8 near Retford yesterday, which was nice.

It is from 1990. Lovely car. But the number plate is a bloody disgrace, showing the owner to be a prize knob.

Only IMHO, of course!

IMHO you're spot on.

Silver on black - WRONG. Incorrect spacing - WRONG. And is there such an allocated number as XXX ?

laugh. I've checked - it's a London issue, but according to the site I found it was only issued as XX (2 letters) and it was early 1925.

Not important in any way. Just didn't realise there were regs with XX in them. I'll get me coat..........

Exciting spot today! I saw a Foden steam bus heading north on the A23 and hopefully I'll see it again tomorrow on the Historic Commercial Vehicle Run.

Blimey, it's SORN according to the DVLA. Taxed yesterday and the news hasn't filtered through?

Or another example of the owner's attitude to legal requirements? Is it insured?
