Excellent, thanks. I know that some had been kept as widebody 5.3s but I can't remember how many ("Cosmetic"s, mainly Volatnes). To confuse things, they also did some 6.3 narrow bodies (e.g. for Prince Charles).
On a side note, I bloomin' love '90s Astons.
It's still showing as SORN.On a side note, I bloomin' love '90s Astons.
No photo I'm afraid, but as we came up the A1 on Sunday my pal (who was driving) said "there is something very old coming up behind us VERY fast" I turend round to look to see an 8C Alfa turning off up a sliproad!
Dark red in colour, I think the reg was "GP 12" and I assume it was returnign home from Donnington.
We were in a Jag XJR and he was caertainly pressing on to gain on us as quick as he did!
Fantastic.

Some great cars as usual on this year's Ipswich-Felixstowe run, but these non-entrants caught my eye:
1984 Talbot Matra-Murena by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr
1980 BMW 525 auto by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr
/\ I really like this one.
197? Lancia Fulvia by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr
And this one was seen elsewhere. Apparently from South Africa, on its way to a new owner here?

Wow - what are the chances? I saw one of these in Brussels at the weekend, but had no time to take a photo. I've been wondering ever since what the hell it was! Thanks for posting Hullygully said:
Nice proportions the Farina BMC cars had.My dad had the MG Magnette version, WXM 529. He thought he was the bee's knees.
He told a story about the Traffic Light Grand Prix where he and another guy launched themselves off and raced down the road only to discover that an Austin 7, which had been two back at the lights, had kept up with them. Over the years, as he retold the story, the Ausin 7 remained but the Magnette became successively his Rover 2000, his Triumph 1300 TC and his MGB GT. We never alerted him to his anecdote enhancement.
