I think that if it had the 6 cylinder engine, it would have an exhaust either side. I may be wrong but this looks like a standard 4 cylinder box but with two tail pipes.
not necessarily.the twin exhaust either side is an after market type and is compatible with 4 and 6 pot engines(although they sound rubbish with a 4 pot IMO).
that one above looks like a standard gt6 box but I don't think it is,looks more like a 'bell' type box with twin outlets.

Not only is this a very rare car - number 118 of 193 built - it is also probably one of the top three cars in the world today in terms of its condition and as the other two are definitely not for sale one can say with certainty that this is the best example available on the market currently.
The car is finished in near perfect Silver with a red Leather interior and had a major overhaul and bare metal respray between 1989 and 1991. It is quite literally one of the most stunning cars we have seen for some time and it has achieved third place in the Jensen Concours event in 1991 and has completed in three Norwich Union Runs. There are many photographs of the rebuild in progress and written statements of the work carried out and it regularly attends Owners Club stands by invitation of the Club and one can see why when one looks at the car.
A reluctant sale by the present owner due to his decision to live abroad and this superb car which will reward its new owner handsomely.

Could be egg on face for me, but I think (Pedantry rules) that it's an XK120. May be wrong. What's with the rear wheelarch extension? Wider-than-intended wheels?
That'll be an XK120 replica, ala Aristocat or Broomstick...though neither normally have those awful flared arches.RESSE said:

There's a house local to me that always has classics up the driveway, and until yesterday I'd only seen a 1950s Standard Eight/Ten, a Midget 1500 and a 'Bullnose' Morris tourer. I don't really like sticking my camera up people's driveways (and that's my excuse for the shockingly bad editing), but I couldn't let this new one pass me by.

Bar the factory steel wheels and optional wire wheels there isn't a lot of aftermarket options available unless you spend big money getting a set made in the correct PCD and offset. The main ones available new these days are minilites, Revolutions or Dunlop D1 replicas. Dolly sprint and tr7 rims fit but don't look right, period rims like Cosmics can be found but don't turn up that often
Spotted in Petworth - just popped out from t'big house for lunch and this was being subjected to a photo shoot in the street just off the market square -
There's a big file on this historic car here;

- seems to be worth a few bob. That colour is gorgeous too.
Whilst lunching in the Square there's all sorts of nice tackle moving at a snails pace through the town (it's the A272 which is a really nice touring route) trying to avoid pedestrians and others reversing out of the congested market place. Recommended.
