Yes, I had a V-reg silver 2.3 manual saloon. It was a smashing car. And it handled well for what, at the time, was a big car. Plus, I liked the styling; it reminded me of the Fiat 130 Coupe. It was about four years old and worth about £1100 and one Saturday a bloke offered me a straight swap for his Jensen Interceptor but by Monday he had changed his mind saying he wanted an automatic. I was disappointed, but I did get to drive the Jensen.

Incorrect details?

That is confusing. I've seen that car quite a lot around my patch and always taken it to be a 964 with flat-nose conversion (it definitely has a flat 6 in the back...). DVLA would have it as originally a pre- impact bumper. Registration date would make it a 3.0 SC. Maybe I can find out next time a see it.
