I'm sure this is the same car, spotted at Ironbridge Brewery a few years back.

I am sure you are right, we spotted it outside our local in Lawley on Saturday afternoon.

I think it is a Model A Ford.

Early Hillman Hunter on Hampstead High Street

Soon followed by an '85 280TE. Reg would place it new in Dorset which is where I grew up. To think when I was with my dad visiting the Merc garage in Dorchester with his '84 190E around that time I could have been stood next to it!

It's a late Model T. AFAIK the Model A never had wooden wheels.

Thank you Fane. smile

I must get a better look at it next time and chat to the owner.

A random one last night.
Went to drop off an old sofa at the charity furniture place and this was parked opposite.
Had a Rover V8 and a bottle of NOS strapped in the back.
The guy in the garage where it was parked also had a Fiat Topolino drag racer in progress - target 190mph!

A very soggy looking couple of people in an open top Bentley on the m62 at ainley top in the pissing rain.
I'm not a Bentley buff but after a google image search I am pretty sure it was a 1929 4.5L
It had very distinctive driving lights low down.

I took this pic more for the garage than the car.

I think that's a Minx, owned by 'Seth' who is on RetroRides, Motoscat etc. forums.

Recent odds and ends:

Mystery Car, Portsmouth by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

My 11yr old daughter has just been on a school trip to France and, probably to the bemusement of teachers and other students, took a few car photos for me. I assume this was on its way there too, is it as obvious as an Austin Seven Special? Just answered my own question, found a photo of it at last weekend's Beaulieu Rally.

1985 Renault 4 F4 Van by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

DVLA suggests this is a recent import.

1960 Vauxhall Cresta PA by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

Had the pleasure of following this for a few miles the other day.

1953 Humber Military Lorry 854XUV by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

Not sure what model this is. Just noticed the rather rather distorted reflection of my old thing is visible on the front wing.

This is probably my best ever spot, so forgive the fact that it was two years ago.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this beauty in front of me. I'd followed it for several miles and was lucky enough to get some decent film of it

I wanted to wind down my window and shout to the uninterested pedestrians "Why aren't you looking at this car in front of me? Do you not realise what it is?"
