I was in Greece last week which is a brilliant place for finding classics. Minis, Volkswagens and Alfa Romeos all seem to be popular, but what really got be excited were the '60s and '70s Japanese cars that scarcely exist on these shores. Regrettably, being on a coach most of the time that I was near a road, I was able to photograph only a few cool cars. Three of the 'ones that got away' were a Lanchester LD10, a Peugeot 404(?) and something that looked, at a brief glance, like a Standard Pennant pick-up, but I couldn't see it well and it could easily have been Eastern Bloc.

A bit of a surprise to see this, not one I can recall seeing locally before.

1983 Bedford CF2 2.3 diesel by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr
Within an hour or so I also saw a Triumph 2500, Stag and TR5 (my boss's, but he rarely brings it into work) plus a couple of Jaguars, all while I was driving around in my Laurel. Not bad for a Thursday lunchtime.

Good to know of someone else here with similar tastes, great to see the Mazda and Toyota pickups.Spottedlaurel said:

Love that Ginetta although the vinyl roof looks a little odd to my taste 1976 Ginetta G21 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr

I was there last week too Zack. Found a new museum (new to me at least) in the centre of Athens and took a bit of video. Some interesting classics if you can bear the naff music I added ....Short Walk Around The Hellenic Motor Museum, Athens - July 2015
Our drive back from Devon to Sussex in July is frequently pretty devoid of classics - apart from FP-R hustling his Facel 2 through Monkton a couple of years ago - but this year was marginally better.
First up was a chap pushing hard in his Triumph 2500 PI Estate heading towards Dartmouth, followed soon after in Totnes by a massive blue American thing whose rear fins would almost have put a D-type to shame.
Thereafter things were a bit quiet - an E-type in a Little Chef, I think, plus around half a dozen VW Campers (no splitties however) and a couple of Deux Chevaux, including an early one with a longer tail - I hesitate to call it a fastback. There was a large Edwardian on a trailer, plus a pre-war Alfa on a trailer, no doubt worth squillions.
Nearer home, there was an Alpine or Tiger pulling off at Winchester, and then we were in convoy with a slightly modified Spitfire and an MGB, except they weren't in convoy as one turned off and the other led us to Petersfield. There we first saw a BMW 328 saloon followed immediately by a wonderful red and yellow fifties convertible Corvette, definitely the highlight for me. However, a traction engine, complete with caravan and coal trailer, letting by the thirty or so cars bunched up behind it on the outskirts of Midhurst was my wife's highlight. All in all, a reasonable crop.

A few recent ones from me.
Saw this on my commute, apparently taking someone to prom.
Outside XScape in Milton Keynes. Looked absolutely mint.
A nice summer daily commuter in MK.
Terrible photo of a pair of brave drivers in Bletchley on Saturday afternoon.
One of 2 absolutely pristine R107 Merc SLs in Woburn on Saturday morning. This was a 300SL.
Nice TR6 outside the church in Woburn. Also where Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner got married recently!
