Great spotting there Mr Spottedlaurel, some cars i've never even heard of! The Datsun 280C Diesel must have been a conversion though? The Fiat 500 (reg 7566 RX 41) looks like it could be modified with twin exhausts & I wonder what else?
The Mercedes W126 looks a bit high at the front so maybe the engine has been removed. Looks like a BMW e46 M3 is there as well. Great pictures & enjoy your holiday.
Thanks. Diesel engines were common in the bigger Datsuns and Nissans in LHD European markets. At least this big old thing got a 2.8-litre 'six', earlier models got a 2.2 'four' when the petrol models got 2.6/2.8-litre engines....The Mercedes W126 looks a bit high at the front so maybe the engine has been removed. There was also a Series 2 Jaguar/Daimler XJ in that yard, and a couple of Mk1 Golf Cabriolets.

Cars like that seem to be very popular in Norway.
We've seen loads around on our travels thus week!
Indeed. Old American cars of all kinds are very popular in Norway. They are probably the most common type of classic car seen in this country. At least they are around here where I live. Here's just a few of the other ones I've come across: We've seen loads around on our travels thus week!

Etc.
Some very nice shots of the US cars in Norway there.
In fact loads of interesting spots from around the world on this page!
I'll add a few of mine from Norway and Sweden so far.
An older couple were doing a road trip in this Jag. The car looked immaculate.
My favourite so far though has to be this 911 Carrera RSR.
It sounded spectacular as the driver floored it away after stopping for me to grab a photo.

Just got back from my holiday in Egypt (Sharm el-Sheikh is a horrible place with nothing pleasant to offer anyone, don't ever go there) and enjoyed nothing except for the ancient sites and the ancient cars............
Much old Japanese stuff around?Seen today:

1972 Volkswagen Pick-up par Fredrik, on ipernity
1973 Alfa Romeo Spider par Fredrik, on ipernity
Another, slightly newer Alfa spider further down the street ...

might get more interest if you post the pictures rather that links. There are forum tags on sharing sites, generally.
The reason I posted links rather than pictures was because those are old pictures (some have even been posted previously by me in this tread) and I didn't want to clutter this page with more pictures than necessary. Edited by galro on Friday 21st August 17:21
