COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! Vol 2
Discussion
What a lovely piece of kit that Alvis ever is. I can't believe I got close to buying a TD21 twice and didn't do it.
The second time was more than 20 years ago near Glastonbury. The guy had done loads of work on it and it drove well but it had come back from the paintshop sprayed the wrong way round - instead of brown with yellow wheels it was yellow with brown wheels. It looked like a giant banana split. I wonder whether it's ever been seen since?

It's entered for the VSCC Loton Park Hillclimb next weekend, with Hillclimb maestro James Baxter at the wheel. Should be a sight to behold.DSC_0073_1 by Steve Marsh, on Flickr

Those children are outside and their white clothes are clearly still white. That completely undermines the argument made that, "Children should be playing in the mud, like the used to be". Incontrovertible evidence to the contrary.
You'd think being transported in the back of the van would have got them dirty before they start with the mud.Good pic though!

It is not so far, then, from the factory it was made in!
They were called Bradfords weren't they? The newspaper firm I worked for many decades ago had some, with roof-top signs that could be altered to match the title they were carrying. Cutting-edge technology in those days...
