Yes, sorry, I should have taken more of the random vehicles round and about. I'll take more if I go back. It was the casual disregard for rules and regulations that tickled me. It's a public road and yet at the same time an open storage area for the local repair shops.

Breakfast meeting near Whitchurch Shropshire this morning

Some of the more unusual cars:

A well used, but also well loved Dino. Fitted with a Mondial engine with the original sitting at home in the garage. Raced around Anglesey last week and going to be driven over to Ireland in a couple of weeks. Wears it's scars with pride.Bought in the 80s after prices dropped and despite many offers to sell over the years, the owner just loves using it and has no intention of selling. Really enjoyed chatting to him - a true enthusiast!

Oh and the owner said that the worst thing about the Dino is that it is so uncomfortable to sleep in. I wonder how many Ferrari owners sleep in their cars to keep their expenses down!

And a old Mercedes come driving past while I took pictures of this DKW:

I don't usually take pictures of so modern cars like this, but is a somewhat rare and quite clean early BX sport so I thought I would make a exception.

Thanks. beer

Yeah, it is indeed. I guess it is somewhat of a acquired taste, but I think it suits it rather well.

Love that AC Greyhound. I always thought that was just the car for me and nothing has changed my mind, except being overtaken by old age.

My ancient G4 Mac uploads pix quite quickly if I tick the 'forum size' button.
