Very pretty.
irked should have a black rear panel. As a P reg it's a CR/CF which should have number plate illumination from the rear panel, not from a bumper plinth.

(Although my CP has the number plate lamps in the rear panel CR-stylee so I retract that last criticism paperbag )

There was 2 Bentaygas in that area, not worthy of pics.
Seen a couple on the road over the last week .. damn they look ugly coming towards you !
I want to hate them as the thought of Bentley making an SUV makes me want to eat my own flesh, plus they are indeed hideous to look at. Apparently however, they are superb both on and interestingly enough for a Chelsea tractor, off road. Never driven one and doubtless never will, but that's the opinion of many of the journos who have.

this turned up at a wilderness b and b near me. What a treat. One family owner for 40 years apparently.

Lancia Flaminia convertible.

Ah, yes, the car that went over the side in The Italian Job in place of the DB4 convertible.

Not sure if the cognoscenti would see a kit car as a classic, but this Chesil Speedster certainly looked the business near Warrington today

Not only a Lancia tricked up to look like an Aston, but also a left hand drive Lancia.

Two local spots, some might argue the first is perhaps not a classic.

Driving through Whitchurch in Buckinghamshire earlier, I just had to stop, walk back and take a picture of this. Cooler than the coolest cool, I reckon.

I feel the urge to watch a game of cricket on the village green with a pint of bitter standing on the grass beside me in the shade of my deck chair.

That's a really lovely-looking PA. I love the colour too.

I've often wondered exactly at what point in that shot does it switch from being an Aston to a Lancia Flaminia?. That's one convincing looking Aston DB4 if its actually a Lancia. To me that looks like a real DB4 convertible going over that edge.

It was at a point before that shot was taken. It's wearing wheel trims, not wires. The headlamps are wrong, the rear fin looks too narrow, and the instrument binnacle's too big.

What a great photo - it could almost have been taken 75 years ago.

In response to a young enthusiast asking through the AMOC monthly News Sheet about the Aston going over - and saying it made him unhappy - the story about the Lancia stand-in came out. The chap who bought the DB4 from the film company with a broken screen told how he ran it for a few years and sold it for £3,000 and finished with, "And he says he's unhappy."

Classic and it's grandson near Charlotte Street yesterday - in fantastic nick as well. The rear window had an additional garden gate style catch on it, and behind the tints I could see a semi-solid partition wall between the rear seat and boot, so I hope the boot was full of bags of cash, tied up coppers and shooters....
