Brilliant..
Thanks chaps.
It really is a stunning car and has a fabulous soundtrack. ( when you could hear it, once the chevrons and listers had gone past ! )

Couple of 1960s British motorsport legends from the Coventry Motofest at the weekend.

Rover-BRM gas turbine

1964 Monte Carlo rally winning Mini Cooper S (presumably not a replica?)

26 year old Jetta with either tired springs or a dead body in the boot. See it most days in different spaces, so presume it's a reasonably daily driver. Lowly GX unfortunately, not a GTI or 16v.

I think this is a genuine '87 924S Le Mans with the correct Le Mans script, colour coded 5 stud tele dial wheel and light grey upholstery piped in beige and the 2.5 four banger. Apparently 1 of 37 RHD white cars. Only question mark is that it doesn't have a rear wiper.

Not to be confused with the 1980 Le Mans which had the normally aspirated 2.0 and the BBS alloys from the turbo.

Seen this a few times, but not had a chance to get a photo (although clearly this one is not great!)

Spotted commuting the other morning. Driver was wearing generic formal shirt so looked like he was on his way to work. Also looked like he wasnt old enough to start shaving.

Very cool.

According to my interpretation of that sign, it's not that far from me, and I saw one just like that yesterday afternoon, so it could well be the same one.

M6 in Cumbria this morning. Not exotic, but a very rare sight. Absolutely immaculate. The driver was wearing 70s driving gloves, complete with holes in the knuckles. A classy touch

Is that Cortina black or the very, very dark green I think they did? Looks lovely either way. Handsome shape.

It is a very dark green (I met the owner last October and he has done most of the restoration himself):

Reg' number on the MkX Jag looks very familiar, I think it might have been Sir William Lyons' own car which I'm sure was sable brown at one point, before he had a S1 XJ6.

I thought it was quite familiar, but I might be thinking of 77RW, the E-type that shows up at Oulton quite often.

Spotted a green Triumph Stag with beige soft top parked up in Llandudno on Wednesday. Also in Llandudno, spotted a gorgeous red Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite parked up along Mostyn St.

Also spotted this Humber (no idea what model) around Llandrillo (I think) just outside Llandudno. Looks like it's been there for some time, and if memory serves me right I do recall seeing the same car stood in the exact same spot last year or maybe in 2013 when I visited the area.
