Right, yesterday we had to take the Škoda to the menders because the electric windows were failing after only five years of existence. Sitting in the garage was a 1979 Dino 308 GT4! Some may also be interested in the 1989 Ford Sierra above.
Nice cossie too, although the wheels are terrible! My neighbour across the road here in deepest France has an old Super Cinq that hasn't been road legal for well over a decade but he's been using it all this week for hauling firewood. It sounds as sweet as a nut and doesn't look rusty. I'd take a pic but I don't want to offend him or make him think I'm going to report him to the Gendarmes.
Was up in London on Tuesday near the Houses of Parliament. As I was stood there I spotted this class Rolls (or Bentley? - Sorry not good with them!) pull up at a set of traffic lights. I noticed in front of it a camera car, and on closer inspection I saw it was Quentin Wilson driving!
And no, he didn't try to sell me a warranty. I didn't get a chance to ask him if he had clocked this car either

I reckon this will be for an upcoming series on TV with co presenter Jodie Kidd, researching iconic motors of the past. Was at Heritage Motor Centre today doing a piece on the Mini, mate of mine provided some of the period motors in the background.

I learnt to drive in one of these. The gearstick came horizontally out the dashboard and was seemingly unconnected to anything, maybe a tin of treacle, certainly nothing with any gearwheels in....RENAULT 4TL by shagracer, on Flickr

Bentley Derby Special 1937 - Flying Scotsman Rally 2014
Earlier today I was coming down the M74 from Glasgow and spotted in front an interesting looking car.Bentley Derby Special 1937 - Flying Scotsman Rally 2014
So I sped up a bit and it had a Flying Scotsman rally plate on the back!
It was an old Bentley and it wasn't hanging about! It made a lovely noise.
The two people in the car were in fly jackets, goggles, hats and gloves but as it was pouring with rain they didn't look that comfortable, maybe that's why they were going so fast......to get home quicker!
Sorry, but I was on my own so no pictures.

This is Elliot Dale who is an adventurer with a good old bulldog spirit. Apart from his extensive rallying history in this and other Bentleys, he's rowed across the Atlantic & is planning to do it again this summer. So I sped up a bit and it had a Flying Scotsman rally plate on the back!

I had a look in there, 'shagracer'. Some really good photos, many of which have appeared in this thread. You need to put the Estelle II in here, if you haven't already. They were brilliant cars, back in the 80's. By which I mean "brilliant, if the alternative was no car at all".My favourite photo was the Supra outside Longleat, along with your comment "No. I don't want to drive through the Monkeys." Your car, I presume?
I remember the little scumbags stole the 'chrome' trim out of the windscreen rubbers on my MkV Cortina when I gave in to the wife and drove through their enclosure
Oh, and the Hunter in Melksham is a bit of a fake. The 'plane is a real Hunter (a GA.11), but it's not S/N WB188. WB188 is the genuine Neville Duke speed record 'plane and it lives in the museum at Tangmere. The Melksham Hunter was painted to take part in a commemorative flight to celebrate the record attempt, but didn't make it to flight status, so the event never 'got off the ground' so to speak. The airframe serial number of the one at Melksham is really XF300, ex Royal Navy and FRADU, which was active in service until 1995.
