Well, my last two spots might not have been anything special but get this. Today I found myself up a back street in Limoges - I'm not sure I'd ever find it again - and spotted a Peugeot 403 and a very tidy 2-door Volvo Amazon.
And then, behind a half-smashed glass frontage across the road I spotted this. At first I thought it was just another Citroen or big Renault. But no. It's a Voisin. In all my 66 years I've never seen one in the metal. Gabriel Voisin was an aircraft designer and his early attempts at motors were once described as penned by a man who knew all about cars but had never actually seen one. Well, I was impressed. It has the fantastic art deco radiator mascot and (I think) a sleeve-valve aero-type engine. I still can't believe my eyes. It's registered and insured for the road too.

I know the chap that built that, it was done in my mates workshop over a period of time. In fact we saw it on Saturday afternoon too while out and about.I turned off at Woore crossroads and he gave a cheery wave.
