I'd agree, comparing it to the standard Metro parked directly in front of it.Sorry no pix (I was busy) but earlier today I was working by the road outside a friend's house, here in deepest rural south central France. I heard a fruity noise in the distance and looked round to be surprised by an XK140 on UK plates burbling past. Half an hour later I spotted from the corner of my eye (at first) a bright yellow Mk 1 Capri, also on UK plates. Must be some sort of tour I guess. We don't get much excitement round here...

These have definitely crept up in value over the last few years. I remember seeing sub £20k ones. Just because it looked a nice example (and because I'm a nosy old git) I looked this car up on the MOT website. It's only got 50k on the clock and passed its MOT yesterday. I like to think that the owner was taking it for a celebratory Italian tune up. I followed him along the A51 for a while and he certainly wasn't sparing the horses!
