Sorry no pic as I was driving but spent 10 minutes behind a Vauxhall Carlton 2000 on an A plate in Barnet. I cannot remember seeing one for years and this one was lovely condition in pale Blue.

Looking at the picture with the white wide arch car (which I agree got it wrong when it came to overtaking the cyclist over the crest nono )........ :

.........and then looking at the following picture, and looking at the angle of the OP's car:

I'd say the OP made the exact same error in looking to pass the red van and also had to duck back in due to an oncoming car! (Bloody stupid place to park the van just over a crest! - Looks like a postman's van, which would explain it! rolleyes )

It was nice of the driver of the BMW to give a wave of thanks though!

Mondial on the A51 in Staffordshire this afternoon

These have definitely crept up in value over the last few years. I remember seeing sub £20k ones.
I can remember when they were less than that!.......
Mondials were £7.5K ~ £14K cars for @ 15 years and were unloved, then the Ferrari market took off a couple of years ago and the Mondial was dragged up with the other models, becoming £20K~£25K two years ago, and are now priced at @ £40K~£60K.

That was my first thought, but the layout is wrong, that is not the view from a conventional Super 7 or derivitive, however, I think the clue is in the name S47, Aha... an S4. Very nice!

Ronarts; nice.

I've been meaning to nip in there for ages! Do they have regular events?

Had the pleasure of following this from B'ham to Stoke this afternoon.

Easily kept the pace with the moderns.

Just imported from South Africa although it was LHD?

Ah, thanks.

I saw the ZA in the registration and assumed it was South African.
