Any ideas on this one? I thought it was a Panther J72 at first but from the rear it has a lot more Spridget bodywork. It's registered as a GMC so possibly a special on a light truck chassis (or a ringer! )
It's like any number of that type of 'homage' - Excaliburs etc, they're pretty much ALL hideous, without exception. My brother, bless him, had one for his wedding car. About half the people attending thought it was a 'genuine classic car'. The rest of us just went on a quest for eye bleach - it looked like an unfinished kit car project. Hateful things. Truly disgusting.
A silly one this but I was dozing on the sofa Friday night while Queen at Wembley was on Sky Arts. Just after SWMBO woke me up and my car was on TV during the documetary that followed. I went straight back to sleep. I still have no idea of when or where, nor the name of the documentary! If anyone saw it and knows what it was, please PM me. I'm curious as to why my car should have been in a documentary on Freddie Mercury.
A nice Riley RME (I think) heading from Bracknell to Sandhurst on the A3095 tonight.
My goodness the rear lights are dim on those old cars! Trafficators were amusing though. Great visibility of those things, it was just the red rear lights that were difficult to see, even in the dark, and on a black car.

I couldn't post these last week due to a Photobucket problem which apparently they are aware of and trying to fix. But I have managed to upload in a different way. So here are the photos of a certain lady's shopping trolley, parked at the supermarket.
Is that a Renault Safrane in the background. Possibly rarer than a Daytona Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
