Did you see Basil Fawlty around?
He was fetching a suitable branch for the "Damngood thrashing"
Daft as it may seem, I was quite excited to see this little car. Nice to see it being used and not SORNed for the bad weather. Can't remember the last time I saw an estate version.
1275cc 1987 Austin Maestro City. Taxed and tested to November 2017, so presumably in regular use. MG wheels on it, presumably not original to a 'City' model?
5.7L 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Taxed and tested 'til next summer too!
Cool? Peronally I'm not sure on either count really, but I thought they were interesting to see "out in the wild" (even if they were on driveways at the time ) The joys of cycling - you spot more 'interesting' stuff from a higher viewing position, and are frequently better able to stop for a quick snap than if you are driving.

1941 Austin K6. It seems to have had a repaint too - it used to have 'RAF' on the doors, and a roundel on the front nearside wing. It's an odd one, as DVLA have it as "first registered" in 2010. Possibly rescued from a scrappy and never previously registered as a civilian vehicle, or perhaps imported after a life spent abroad.Either way, I think it's the best looking of the British military trucks of that era, and it appears to be well looked after.

It's a nice old thing and only about a quarter of a mile from me!! I see it quite often!
When I looked it up, I had it down as 1939, I most likely got it wrong!!
