A few photos from earlier today.

I drove up from Farnborough to visit Nuffield Place, former home of Lord Nuffield (Billy Morris, founder of the Morris Motor Company) and it seems that the National Trust encourage visiting Classic Car owners to park right outside the house, thereby creating a bit of extra 'atmosphere' for the place...

Four cars parked in a row at the front of the house...

A pair of Austin A30s - complete with 'period' tax discs (they were both displaying modern ones, too)

A very well kept Midget (owner was nearby, and explained that it was a rebuild of a 1970 car with a Heritage bodyshell by a previous owner)...

Lady Nuffield's Wolseley, part of the Nuffield Place collection, but taxed, nonetheless...

Getting away from cars for a while, an early example of William Morris' work, before he turned his attention to motorbikes, and then cars...

Not your average French runabout: 1931 Voisin C23 Myra Berline

Love it. So Deco!
You should take a "Deco" at the interior! Proper French weird wobble , but somehow cool. cool

It comes in other colours too, also from a Voisin

Saw this immaculate Renault Caravelle in Saffron Walden today. Sorry about the blurry picture, I hurriedly took it as I sat in traffic.

Show me anything from Laura Ashley, past or present, that looks anything like that pattern.

Down a side street in the middle of Chichester this afternoon. Not sure if it was just out of storage or had just been through Southampton Docks - sticker on the windscreen mentioned the docks and it was fairly tatty... my 3 and 4yr old assistants dashed off before I could read it or ask the chap on some scaffolding above if he knew anything about it.

Saw a Citroen Traction-Avante on the way over this morning too, parked up at the side of the A27 (westbound) around 1130 after Littlehampton.

A few bits and bobs from around West Yorkshire in the last week or so.

This was in Nottingham, not sure how classic yet, but definitely will be!
