COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! Vol 2
Discussion
Saw an orange Mk2 Escort this afternoon, flat front, pair of spotlights, not sure what model but it had the stripe that flares up at the back end. 1600 Sport, perhaps? Flashed my lights, then realised I wasn't in anything old and owner would just wonder why.
And a railway carriage on a low-loader yesterday evening, a bar/restaurant car, fairly modern but either in brown/cream or maroon/cream, hard to tell in the street lighting.

Dicky things aren't too bad, with the money I've saved through not having an RS2 I now have a collection of vehicles.
And yes the car was abandoned to go and get a kebab.
Good to hear, T.And yes the car was abandoned to go and get a kebab.
Yes, I have a saying I trot out when folk enquire about RS2 ownership. It goes:
"I bought it for eleven thousand, sold it two years later for twelve and only spent eight thousand on it in between."
In other news, have you introduced folk hereabouts to the Puffing Devil?
Yesterday was a good in south Manchester, first up a lovely little Austin 7. It's very local to me and has been around for years, funny following it down the road and driving between the speed bumps. Next up was an aboslutely stunning aquamarine blue '55 Cadillac Fleetwood with spare wheel on the rear bumper, seen in Heaton Norris. Heading back towards Didsbury I spot another prewar British saloon and finally in Disbury a red bumperless early '70's Fiat 124 spider.
