Lovely country though - we holiday in that area often as we have some good friends at Monmadales just up the road from Issegeac
Oradour is amazing - so atmospheric and well worth a visit.
I felt I couldn't be in the region and not go there. It's the sort of place that everybody should visit at some time in their life. Anyhoo, sorry for going OT.Oradour is amazing - so atmospheric and well worth a visit.

Wow........missed that at Wheels Day......and I wasn't aware that particular famous Granada had survived!!!!!!Assuming it's the 'real' VHK 491S and not a silver Granada on 'show' plates, that Granada was the Granada used in most of the last series of The Sweeney as well as in the 2nd of The Sweeney films
My mate knows the owner....my mate knows every Granada owner it seems....
It was parked in public car park but accessible by people from inside show.

Nicanary, are you in that line of work then? We could get to know each other! I live in the forest, not far from Oradour-sur-Glane.
Sorry if you misunderstood. I was simply on holiday in the area - I live in Northern Ireland! Crikey - strange assignations in the woods! You're a lucky beggar - I'm a bit of a Francophile, and a St Emilion is my plonk of choice.A couple of loosely "Classic" cars in Ripley, Surrey, yesterday...
Bentley Mulsanne
VW Golf Caddy
Now. The Bentley looks like it has a RR boot badge, and I don't see a bonnet mascot. Confusion reigns. DVLA say it's a green 1985 Bentley with a 'proper' 6750cc V8 going on.
The Caddy had to go in here, as it's too well executed to go into the 'badly modified' thread. I thought it was done well, a bit 'scene' but subtle too. Aside from a little tyre 'stretch' and the illegal (non reflective) number plates, I thought it looked OK. When I went into the Jovial Sailor for lunch, the side of the VW was hidden by another car parked alongside. I was expecting it to be a bit of a horror story, but when I came out after my lunch, the other car had moved, and I was pleasantly surprised.
