COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! Vol 2
Discussion
A few months ago I posted pics of a 500SEC I pass on my way to the pub at lunchtime in Kingston that just stands and does nothing.
It has less than 15,000 miles on the clock.
The owner was there today. He lives in Canada and the car has to go. He imported it from Singapore. It needs new tyres, some work on the veneer and a bit of bodywork.
He wants £4,000. If anyone's interested, PM me. I have the owner's details.

I would want a valid MOT for my £4000
Nice car though if it hasn't got rampant tin worm.
Given that an extra £950 will get you this, you may need to chip a bit more off depending on condition.Nice car though if it hasn't got rampant tin worm.

These Mercs can take monster mileages so you'd be better off with a pampered runner with 120k on it than something that has sat around with no miles.
Yes, yes. You're right. It's just I see it most days when I go to and fro the pub at lunchtime and I'd built it up in my mind. I posted it on here some time ago and there was quite a lot of interest. To be honest, at lunchtime today, if I'd had four thousand quid in my pocket, I would now own five litres of non-runner with a perpetual flat tyre and peeling veneer. Plus, I would have an incandescent wife and a big hole where the four grand had been.

It's a great looking thing, but why oh why oh why do owners like to keep those incongruous rally stickers on after the event? We've all got a pretty good idea that you're loaded, without having to tell us that in 2009 you went on the Poshington - Smythe Bank Tour of wkville.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
