Does IT incompetence = mitigating circumstances your honour?

Or failing that grovelling?

Passed a nice white MGB roadster, northbound M40 this morning doing 55mph was it a club member?
All club members have properly calibrated speedometers, so if it was exactly 55 then possibly. Due to secrecy rules you will never know.

Also, what is this thing called "nice white MGB roadster" of which you speak?

Definitely in, I might be doing 55, I might not, the speedo tends to bounce around a bit in that area....

My Keeble does 55mph in first. Well, I say that, it last did it in 1994 but it'll be running this year. WTF are the number in the []?

I think the numbers in brackets are the number of times that people have tried to get their car over 55mph, or perhaps it's the number of stickers they want confused If the latter, you are being rather greedy I feel, especially as we are limited to 55 members. Are you a large family?

I think it might have been OEW or snowberry or possibly glacier white, it was a '67, could club members comment on the likely shade of white?

Just one sticker would suffice.

You lot are completely bonkers which seems the best reason to join. So count me in. Might have to disconnect the supercharger but think of the petrol that I'd save.

It brings me great joy and a small amount of pride to report to other members that the first club meeting in South America was held earlier today on an easily accessible area of desert south of Calama in Chile. No members attended and even I couldn't attend due to work commitments. Any future meetings are now cancelled as I fly home tomorrow, I hope this high standard and 100% non attendance sets an example others strive to maintain. Someone passing did take a pic of the members parking area that they forwarded to me and I enclose it below for the enjoyment of other 55ers.

... Apparently not! In which case I shall wear my shortest membership/first member of the 55mph club to be barred "badge" with pride!

I would like to arrange a meet in Romania for any members interested at their earliest inconvenience.

Telephone: (0040)*******
Email: ******@*********.com
Romanian55mph Club is open Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm. Please don't call during weekdays as there will be no-one available to take your calls.

Whether you want to take your car to Romania on your own, in a group, or on an R55club organised tour then you can make substantial savings by booking through the R55mph travel Club. The Travel club can be accessed via contact details not provided due to privacy regulations.

When embarking on a Romjolly it is advisable to let faster moving horse and carts pass on blind bends. Obviously this doesn't apply on the straight sections and members are encouraged drive two abreast for safety reasons.

On the trip to Romania, can we each put 2-4 Romanian Benefits Cheats in the boot of our cars, no food or water and return them 'whence they came' !!!!!!!
