I wish to make a complaint.
While I realise that it is acceptable for MGB drivers to drive at 55MPH if they so desire, on the way home yesterday evening there was a 3.8 Mk2 Jaguar driving at 55MPH in lane 2 of the A40 just before Uxbridge. This really isn't acceptable.

No sir. It is well known that while you are not good in bath you are very good in bed, and that you have a French widow in every room. But to the revolver; it is rumoured that you played Russian roulette and the gun went off - but you missed. That is in keeping with the spirit of the club.

Strictly speaking, I didn't miss, but the bullet only went into my head, so no harm done. Normal Club business can therefore resume. I hereby declare next month's meeting closed. The Hon Sec is admonished to pay more attention in future as there was going to be a typo in the minutes for the July meeting, which minutes I hereby approve. There being no further business, the Club was declared numb and avoid. Same time next Tuesday. Bring your own crisps.

I notice I'm still not a member. Well that's ok, because I don't want to join now. I've just been stopped for driving at 55mph by the local fuzz as they thought, because I was driving so slow, I maybe have been intoxicated. From now on I will endeveour to put a 1 in front of the 55. Cheers, I'll have another.....
