With period roof rack and emergency transport!

That is lovely. I can remember 'Classic Cars' magazine giving one of there away as a readers-prize a few years ago in that same colour. What a cracking give-away.

I would love a GT Junior, and a matching Lancia Fulvia, and a ......

I love the styling and vibe of these cars, they are quite easy to own and competent enough to be driven amongst modern traffic.
Having learnt to drive mine around a track, I started of slowly, but eventually found that they come alive if you can get the confidence to let them move around a bit on the skinny rubber.

I have a couple of short videos of mine in action at Curborough. Sounds great from outside the car! I love taking it out for events and it always gets a great reaction.

Been lusting after this for the last week or so. Went for £23k on eBay, very jealous of the lucky purchaser.

That looks like a jewel.
Lovely wheels too.

Wow - how high do you dare to rev? Racers go 7K+ easy.

Yes, I remember that too, I think they sourced it in Italy and drove it back, I was desperate to win it! Think I still have a copy of that issue somewhere.
This one was owned by an editor of Classic Mag in late 90's, then was involved in a barn fire that damaged a few classics.

Drives great, but I collected it in Holland (I'm in Belgium), so I have to trailer it back home, register, MOT and insure it. I could have paid for transit plates and driven it, but they cost about €140 and I've got the trailer anyway for my race toys.

(We may have raced the 2 up and down the road a bit once we got home though) smile

Looks nice, interesting to see a light coloured interior on a Red Car, usually black.

Without wanting to cast aspersions I would imagine it's been repainted red or had an interior transplant/retrim, not that it really matters. Looks a lovely car.

Car is original red, re-trimmed 2 years ago. I prefer light-coloured interiours, but am a bit worried that it won't survive unscathed!

TBH I didn't ask, although I have seen other ones over here with the same combination. My 1750 GTV has a dark brown (I think it was called "Tobacco") interior.

Great selection of cars there. The interior looks a lot darker in that pic above, trick of the light?

The one I posted today is my 1750 GTV (which is the one this thread is about). The one with the light interior is a 1600 GT Junior I bought last Friday.

Total collection is 1990 S4 Spider, 1993 155 Q4, 1973 GTV 1750, 1975 GT Junior 1600, 1976 Giulia Super 1600, 1982 Sud 1.5 Cloverleaf, 1984 GTV6.

Some people think I have a problem smile

I think there won't be unless it's a V6.

Suspects: late 50s Giulia Spider, 2 litre Berlina in rally guise, 2600 Sprint or Berlina, Zagato Junior, Montreal.
