Alfa Romeo 1600 GT Junior.

A smokey screamer.

Slightly OT:

2600 Berlina.

2000 Berlina.

More to come.

And why not? It would not look too good on the Bertones follow up:

Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2.5.

It's been over a year when I first and last drove Davids Alfa Romeo 105 Bertone 1750 GTV. And what an improvement. Fresh brakes felt confident, gear changed smoother, front felt lighter which made the unassisted steering way more precise. The Bologna Webers seemed more in tune and above 2500K the Nord was happy to pick up smoothly. What a car!

Still the Bertone must be the most handfull of the pack (which I did not mind at all). Best handling car was Davids 'pace car' Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 with tasty Alfaholics bits on.

Allrounder Alfa Romeo Spider S4 - in the afternoon the team dropped the top.

Alfa Romeo Alfasud 1500 Ti and wow. A peach of a car with a raunch soundbyte: quick!

Great pics there Dinkel, most of my favourite Alfas in one place! The Sud and GTV6 look lovely and the early Sud Sprint looks so pretty. Is that the front corner of an Alfa 6 I see? Brings back memories, my first car was a silver Sud QV, my father's first Alfa was a red GTV6 and 20 years ago I owned a Cava Beige Giulia Super. Love to see more pics please!

Great photos. My uncle, then brother had a 2000 Giulia Rallye, a South African Special edition of the Giulia. I have fond memories of that car.

Looks dark red to me (front corner visible on left of 2600 Berlina pic)????

Ooh and is that a 90 lurking in the right corner of the yellow Berlina shot?

Ah, 2.5 V6 indeed. That's a Jag S-type behind the Berlina. The garage holds two 2.4 diesel 75 Alfas which were in bits and pieces. For good reason I guess wink

Way off topic I realise but hardly worthy of a new thread. Whilst reading an article on Soviet cars on Jalopnik there was this pic of a Moskvich 400, is that a Giulia Super rear windscreen I see?

Wonderful car OP!

Isn't hindsight a great thing?

Back in 1972 my (sadly long-departed) father bought a 1970 Fiat 125 for £895 from a "bomb-site" trader in Tooting and when he went to collect it there was a J-plate 1750 GTV for the same price! Although I got to have the Fiat a few years later I would have much preferred the GTV!

Windy and gray day did not stop the Alfa Pack - well, they did at this WW1 cementary - and explore the Eastern Flanders rural roads.

"Can we get back on the road without smashing our exhausts?" - Errrrrr.

That looks the bits and sounds even better.

Bliss line-up. British Cemetery.

300 brake Focus beast and 105 brake Boxer howler.

The Sud Ti aged well. Perfect preserved car.

Back to back: 2 litre Berlina and 1600 GT Junior. Berlina has a longer wheel base (and is a bit heavier) than the period Giulia. IMO it's a prettier and cleaner car. Catch one if you can. Jans brown B is lowered and stripped. I like it. A lot.

Bertone hand on the 2000 Berlina.

Ready for take of.

Oof what a beauty.

The Busso.

Finale: a hommage to this stunning little Bertone.

Please feel free to drop your Bertone 105 pictures.
