Big collection of British Classics for sale
Discussion
James is without doubt the nicest man you could ever meet with a huge knowledge and enthusiasm for his passion. What makes this collection unique is not the cars that have a high profile or high price but the fact there are complete sets of cars including what would have been considered family cars so yes there may be every model of E Type or XK but when did you last see a full set of Austins including each model variant e.g Woody, Convertible, Coupe and Saloon correct in every detail and often with very low mileages. or every variant of Morris Minor etc etc. This really is a very very interesting collection and in reality an instant museum of British motoring and I hope the collection is saved complete by the purchaser.

Does anyone have a link to a list of what's in the collection?
Go up a bit, "Poorcardealer" said "I've got a full inventory and there isnt £100M there, unlikely to be half of that"If that helps.
I hope he sells them all to one buyer who then opens a huge museum. I would gladly pay to see this collection, with a few extra bits laid on I.e. show ground for events and the story of the British motor industry. This would be my idea of heaven. Sadly it may end up behind closed doors again. A real shame. Any chance of a SUnday Service at one of his sheds?

Hi PCD, may I ask how you came by a full inventory of the collection?Cheers.

I have clients worldwide who are serious collectors and often get sent inventories by auction houses and other people in the trade.
OK, thanks. The reason I ask is that my sister maintains the inventory, and as far as she's aware she hasn't released the complete list to anyone yet, so it may be worth taking the one you have with a pinch of salt.TankRizzo said:
