Great little car...my first car was a seven saloon that had been "converted" to a tourer by cutting the roof off! Enthusiastic cornering made the doors fly open! As a '27 car should it not have a magneto? Not too difficult to convert back. Very jealous.
DGH
A Magneto crankcase and a Distributer crankcase are totally different, so conversion "back" to mag is not possible !!!!!DGH
I came across a similar thread elsewhere on PH. This is really starting to peak my interest.
Must admit, the LWB Austin 7 Ulster is appealing.
Also came across an intriguing business whilst dreaming the other day. Check out http://www.flyingsevens.co.uk, they have a very cute Austin 7 special on there, amongst other variants. Dream, dream...
